Ford gives in and is replacing my 2011 Lincoln MKX Engine

Ford Motor Company does not care about it's customers or problems.

My wife and I used to drive Cadillac's. I drove a Cadillac Escalade Platinum Hybrid; My wife drove a Cadillac CTS. My daugther drives a new Equinox. We purchase 3 new cars every 2 or 3 years.

When Ford did NOT take the Stimulus money, my wife and I decided we would switch over to Ford.

We bought two new Lincoln MKX's from Findlay Lincoln Mercury, in Henderson. NV.

I leased my wife a Red MKX and I purchased a White Loaded MKX for myself.

My Lincoln MKX has a knock in the engine when you first start it up

It last until the engine and oil reaches normal operating temperature about 6 to 8 minutes. Loud and annoying

Ford said they are aware of this problem and working on a solution.  I was not advised there was a pending problem on this engine at the time I purchased two of these vehicles. I was Duped.

I do not understand why Ford will not admit it was a poorly designed Cam Shaft End Cap. It does not allow enough engine oil when cold for lubrication. I understand that Ford tried to fix this lubrication problem by creating deeper and more grooves in the Cam Shaft End Cap and that Failed.  They even replaced the left "Head" and one of the Cams". I spent $60,000.00 Thousand dollars for a nice car. I do not feel like I have to be a Beta tester for Ford Motor Company.  I would like my Car replaced! I feel uneasy owning a new vehicle and the motor had to be taken apart and parts replaced and the problem is STILL there.

This engine will fail because of constant lack of lubrication in the morning and it will most likely be when I am traveling across country 50 or 100 miles from the closest town or telephone at 2am. I will tell my wife no problem honey if we get out of this alive, the car is under warranty.
